Its name is inspired by the legend of the wolves of the Tigheci Forest, which roam the woodlands surrounding the Gitana vineyards.

The grapes come from carefully selected vineyard parcels, with each variety harvested, vinified and aged separately before the final blend is assembled. Maceration and fermentation take place in large open-top oak vats for a few days, followed by two years of maturation in Slavonian oak casks and a further 14 months in American oak barriques, where the wine develops structure, balance and aromatic complexity.

Lupi reveals aromas of cherry, blackberry and blueberry, complemented by notes of licorice, dark chocolate, vanilla and cardamom. Full-bodied and well-structured, it offers refined tannins, balance and a long, persistent finish.
