Originating from Georgia, Saperavi is one of the world's oldest cultivated grape varieties, with a winemaking history dating back thousands of years. A rare teinturier variety, it is distinguished by both its red skin and naturally red flesh, giving the wine its remarkable colour, structure and intensity.

Inspired by traditional Georgian winemaking, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in concrete amphorae using only indigenous yeasts, before ageing for 12 months. The wine reveals aromas of red and black fruits, complemented by spicy notes and pronounced minerality. Full-bodied and structured, it finishes with persistent notes of black cherry and licorice.
